Matt Robson needs Nick Smith's medication

As Joe points out Matt Robson is losing his mental status fairly quickly. Meanwhile Parliament is turning into a true bitch fight.
Firstly Labour attacks Nick Smith for 'taking medication'- a reference to his taking of stress leave when Brash overthrew English.
So Smith returns fire by claiming that Lianne Daiziell spent time in a alcohol rehab centre and then attacks Helen Clark for having no children.

SO what is happening in our House of Representatives?
I wouldn't like to think that behaviour is representative of our behaviour as a country.

The election is turning nasty quickly, but is that really a reason to take low blows at each other?
Surely politics is a battle of ideas not personalities, I've already posted on why the Right engages in personal politics. I feel that the rules of Parliament should be slightly stricter when it comes to attacking people - a timid 'I withdraw and apologise' for saying someone was on medication/spent time in rehab/etc is not really enough. There should be more sanctions put on people for this carry on - maybe removing questions from their allowance for the Opposition, and actually having to answer questions for the govt.
